Volunteers serving in Cambodia, Myanmar, or Laos are responsible for their own lodging arrangements; however, The Ford Project will provide a financial stipend to assist with lodging and living costs in recognition of your sacrifice and commitment to the mission.

Important โ€” Regional Differences

Volunteers should understand that projects and activities in Thailand may differ significantly from those in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, or Laos. What to expect.

A Ford Project mission trip is not a vacation โ€” it is a calling. Volunteers will work directly alongside our team and local partners across Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia, using their professional skills to protect children from trafficking and exploitation.

Whether you are a medical professional โ€” including doctors, nurses, or clinical psychologists providing healthcare and trauma support to vulnerable children and families โ€” or a cybersecurity expert helping us track and disrupt exploitation networks, your skills are needed and your impact will be real.

The minimum commitment is two weeks. This ensures that your time on the ground is meaningful and that the children and communities we serve experience the full benefit of your expertise.

Marc Ford will personally host all volunteers and ensure your lodging is covered for the duration of your trip. You will be welcomed as family.
